The Social Investment Business ‘An interview with…’ podcast series released on iTunes

24 August 2011

The Social Investment Business has made its monthly ‘An interview with…’ podcast series, which talks to leaders throughout the civil society and non-profit sector, available to download on iTunes.

The series has posed a mixture of provoking and fun questions to CEOs throughout the sector including Kate Bull from The People’s Supermarket, Rodney Schwartz from ClearlySo and Lord Victor Adebowale from Turning Point. Topics debated have ranged from health service reforms to Big Society, fair trade to opportunities for young people in social enterprise and the global social entrepreneurship market to social impact measurement.

Sarah Brown, Interim Marketing and Communications Director at The Social Investment Business said: “We have been pleased with the reception of our podcast series and have been looking for ways to make it even more accessible. iTunes provides a fantastic platform for us to take another small step towards making social investment more mainstream and involving more people in the conversation.”

The podcast series currently consists of 10 episodes which have received almost 1,000 listens in total, the most popular episodes interviewing Sir Stephen Bubb, Matthew Taylor and Jonathan Lewis. Future episodes in the series will feature Simon Tucker from the Young Foundation and Steve Wyler from Locality. The Social Investment Business will also shortly be announcing a competition for social enterprises to win the opportunity to be interviewed about their work.
